Orana Publishing is a UK-based company with deep Australian roots. The name "Orana" comes from a vast region in New South Wales, Australia, and is believed to mean "welcome" in an Aboriginal language. To honor this heritage, we created a brand icon inspired by the kookaburra, a bird symbolic of NSW. Its arched wingspan was designed to represent the open, welcoming pages of a great book, reinforcing the company’s commitment to storytelling and inclusivity.
