Designed in Newcastle, installed by hand in New York!

When the opportunity came up to work with GAP and Keds on a large-scale mural installation at their Carnegie Hall office and flagship NYC store, we jumped right in. The concept centered around bringing the brands’ advertising heritage to life through an authentic wheatpaste poster installation.

Using a rich archive of vintage ads, we created layered, torn compositions in the style of classic New York fly-postering. These were combined with elements from the latest campaigns to reinforce the brands' evolving narratives while celebrating their visual legacy.

We flew to New York and installed the final designs ourselves - ensuring the texture, layering, and authentic street-style feel came through exactly as intended.
